New integration: Contensis CMS and Insytful
TL;DR [too long; didn't read] 🤯
- Users of the Contensis CMS can benefit from the Insytful integration in the latest 16.2 release.
- The integration will highlight inaccessible content before being published.
- Editors can ensure the content they have created is search engine optimised.
- Users can see how optimised their content is, without leaving their CMS.
We're pleased to announce the release of the Contensis CMS and Insytful integration today. Users of Contensis and Insytful can now see Insytful scan results within the CMS entry editor, providing better insights about content published on your website.
What can the integration do?
The integration gives users of the Contensis CMS better insights into their web content and where it needs improvement. With insights from Insytful in Contensis, editors can identify and correct errors before an entry is published. All without having to leave the CMS interface.
What information will be shown in the integration?
Editors will benefit from seeing the following scores for their content directly in the Contensis UI:
- Overall content score
- Accessibility score
- SEO score
- Content quality score
- Performance score
Scores will be given for preview content and live content so editors can gauge how optimised the content is before and after publishing.
If there are areas for improvement, you can make changes to your content based on the recommendations to improve your score. For example, adding alt text to an image will increase your accessibility score. Once you have made updates, you can rescan your page and see your updated score.
Finally, editors will also be able to examine whether their content requires attention before publishing. The Insytful integration will highlight whether any areas have failed to meet accessibility, SEO, content quality, or performance criteria. Helping to put a stop to inaccessible content online.
How can I start using the integration?
Contensis community members are encouraged to upgrade to Contensis 16.2 in order to start benefitting from the Insytful integration.
