Setting up Insytful

• Go to https://app.insytful.com/
• Enter your email and password.
• Click Log In. Forgot your password? Click ‘Forgotten Password’ to reset it.

Add your first site by entering its domain, for example, www.insytful.com.

Update your organisation profile, including:

• Adding sites
• Inviting users
• Setting up deep linking
• Creating sections

Navigate to Settings > General. Click Save.

Scanning and monitoring multiple websites is a Premium feature included with Plus and Enterprise plans.

With a Premium subscription, you can:

• add multiple websites, intranets and microsites;
• allocate scan allowances across your sites;
• track overall scan usage;
• increase or decrease your scan allowance as needed.

There’s no fixed limit on the number of sites you can add. The number of URLs Insytful can monitor depends on the scan allowance included with your plan.

Manage your sites: Administrators can manage individual sites and allocate scan allowances within Site Settings.

Manage your subscription: Administrators can view overall usage and increase or decrease the organisation’s scan allowance from the Billing area at anytime.

Each website in Insytful has its own dashboard to track results clearly. The dashboard provides an overview for monitoring key metrics, including accessibility, SEO, content quality, and performance scores for each domain.

The dashboard gives you a quick overview of key metrics and insights for your site.

• Last scanned: See how many pages and when your site was last scanned
• Overall site score: Combines all metric scores and provides an average.

Accessibility, content quality, SEO and performance are all scored out out of 100.

• Worst performing pages: Prioritise updates to your worst performing web pages.
• Progress tracking: View historical scan data and see how your site has performed, from issues found to audits passed.
• Broken links and misspellings: Monitor link health and content accuracy changes to your site over time.

Get to know Insytful a little better by using some of these features:

• Sidebar: Expand the sidebar to navigate to features.
• Search bar: Search for content in the app.
• Inventory: See all the files, phone numbers and email addresses on your site.
• Overview: Get an overview of each area and the related passed and failed audits.
• Pages: See a list of all the pages on your site and their individual scores
• Tasks: Assign work to colleagues, keep track of what needs attention and collaborate on improvements across your site.

Use Tasks to:

• assign work to colleagues;
• keep ownership clear;
• track what needs attention across Insytful;
• track progress with tasks (see what is to do, in progress and done);
• collaborate when work needs input from another person or team.

Previously used Assigned issues? Assigned issues are now called Tasks in Insytful. We've renamed the feature because not everything you assign and work on is necessarily an issue.

Once you've identified something that needs attention, you can either assign it as a Task or make the change yourself.

To make and check a change:

• Go to a page with a failed audit, broken link or misspelling
• Identify the issue and make a change in your CMS. (Do this straight from Insytful if deep linking has been enabled.)
  • If CMS deep linking has been set up: Click Edit page in CMS to make changes. Then go back to Insytful to rescan your page.
  • If CMS deep linking has not been set up: You can manually visit your CMS to make the changes. Or, set up deep linking to improve your editing experience.
• Navigate back to the page in Insytful.
• Click the 3 dots in the top right corner, and click Rescan page

See how your changes to the page have made a difference to your site score in real time.
